My Story…
Over the course of 6 years as a firefighter, I lost one friend and multiple colleagues to suicide, and saw it happening too frequently across Police, Fire and EMS services even in our small and relatively quiet town.
Legacy Place Society provides critical support during times of crisis for first responders. I was lucky to have support systems to help me through challenges that come with the job.
This cause is close to home and the work this organization does is very needed, so I have set the ambitious goal of raising $10,000 before I run the Calgary Marathon.
