My Story…
Hi! I'm Paige and I'm running the Calgary full Marathon this coming May 25th, 2025.
In 2019 I ran my first 42.2km in honour of my Mum who courageously fought breast cancer for eight years and passed away in 2007 when I was 12. Since 2019, I've ran countless kilometres and I'm excited to toe this next start line with a healthy and (so far) injury-free training block. Since 2019 I've raised over $8,000 in her memory.
She was the hardest worker I know who had the biggest heart, and she gave so much back to her family, friends and community. Running is something I initially started as something to do for her not thinking I would ever stick with, and since then it has become something I do for myself and it has transformed my life in so many positive ways. I've met some incredible people through running and have had some amazing opportunities to run in some of the coolest spots in the world.
