Our story…
This Saturday, Evelyn, two friends, and I will be participating in the Calgary Servus 10km race to raise funds for the Fragile X Foundation. This year, the Foundation has set a national goal to raise $136,000—symbolically chosen to represent the estimated 136,000 individuals affected by Fragile X Syndrome across Canada. These funds will support critical research, family resources, and efforts to increase awareness.
We are running in honor of two incredible kids—my son and daughter, Felix and Lucy—both of whom have been diagnosed with Fragile X Syndrome. They are a daily source of inspiration and joy, and Evelyn is proud to be their big sister.
The Fragile X Foundation holds a very special place in my heart, and I am honored to serve on its Board of Directors as the Secretary. Every donation, big or small, helps us get closer to our goal and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of families like ours.
