Team Quest is Raising Money for Calgary Quest Children's Society's Therapy Programs!
Calgary Quest Children's Society (Quest) empowers children and young adults with developmental disabilities and unique learning needs through education, skill-building, and meaningful community connections to inspire growth and foster independence.
Quest is one of the few organizations in Calgary dedicated to supporting children and young adults with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. Our organization is built on two primary branches:
Calgary Quest School: We provide an inclusive, supportive, and therapeutic educational environment for students aged 6-20 with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. Our approach is highly individualized, focusing on the unique strengths and needs of each student. We create a nurturing space where students can grow academically, emotionally, and socially, building the foundation for a successful future.
Calgary Quest Resources (CQR): CQR provides essential programs and services designed to support young people with disabilities across different stages of life while also providing vital support to their families. These programs help children and young adults develop skills, build connections, and enjoy meaningful experiences in a safe and inclusive environment. Programs include:
• Centre for Opportunity: Delivered in a group learning environment, our program focuses on life skills development, personalized learning, and meaningful experiences, equipping participants aged 18-28 to confidently navigate their transition into adulthood.
• Summer Adventure Camp: An inclusive summer camp experience for children age 6-19, featuring weekly themes and specialized life skills camps for older participants.
• Before & After Care: We provide before and after school care to students, offering them a safe and supportive environment for socialization and skill building.
This year, as we celebrate 45 years of Quest, we’ve set a goal to raise $45,000 through the Servus Calgary Marathon Charity Challenge. These funds will directly support our programs and services, ensuring we can continue to provide high-quality education, care, and recreation opportunities for youth with disabilities.
Every dollar raised will help us continue our mission of empowering lives and building futures for the next generation.
