Our story…
We hope to bring critical cancer care closer to home in rural India!
Imagine living in rural India and your oncologist says that the nearest radiation treatment is 120 km away. The anxiety of leaving your family and medical team, coupled with the unaffordable costs of staying in an unfamiliar city would be overwhelming. That's why treatments stop.
Your support will help Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally bring critical cancer care closer to home. The purchase of a Varian TruebeamRadiotherapy Machine for the Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre, will provide life-saving radiation therapy locally.
At the cost of $2.8 million, this is the largest single purchase in Canadians Sharing's history and that is why we need your donation!
