My Story…
This is my 3rd Full Marathon and probably the most important one.
I am dedicating this run to my Ba (Grandmother). She passed away last May 6th 2024, suffered from Alzheimer’s during the last few years of her life. It was extremely difficult to see this strong, fierce, independent woman be completely helpless and dependent.
She was an incredible woman and a lot of my strength comes from her.
Help me fundraise for Sunnybrook Foundation, they have the most innovative studies to help advances in Alzheimer’s research. There is no cure, but certain treatments can halt progression of the disease.
Sunnybrook have discovered focused ultrasound to rescue memory and stimulate growth of brain cells.
I will run this 42.2 Km at 42 years old for my BA.
