My Story…
Hi to my best pit crew!
I'm gearing up for the Toronto May Half-Marathon (21.1 km), and this race has extra meaning for me this year. I'm running to raise money for Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH). One of my close friend's soon-to-be wife, Fabienne, is currently battling cancer and receiving treatment at PMH. We're raising money for cancer research and a better future for all those warriors fighting similar battles.
I've set a goal of ~1:30 (1 hour, 30 minutes) and am excited for the challenge. Sport has always been an outlet for me, and this race is a chance to push myself, share the journey with friends (Team: "You don't like cancer, do you?"), and make a meaningful impact.
