Why I'm running for rescues:
Bugle asks you to help CCHS care for animals and help them find their forever homes!
For the 2nd year I will be walking the 10K during Race weekend to support the Champaign County Humane Society. I have set my goal to surpass the generosity of all the amazing people who donated last year. Will you help make this happen for the animals? Any amount is appreciated - thank you for your consideration.
CCHS mission: To instill respect, kindness, and compassion for animals as community values.
Their Purpose: To prevent cruelty to animals, to promote animal welfare, to educate the public about humane care and treatment of animals, to increase public awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue and to provide solutions and to provide high quality shelter, medical and adoption services for animals when necessary.
CCHS is an independent charitable organization (501(c)(3)), the name reflects geographic location only. They are not a County agency and are not supported by tax dollars.
A donation, of any $ amount will allow CCHS to continue operating as an 'open door' animal shelter and accept all companion animals needing shelter, regardless of age, physical condition or adoptability.
