I’m going the distane for CHEO – and this year, I’m going the full 42.2K.

Last year, I ran my first half marathon and set a goal to raise $10,000 for the CHEO Foundation. Thanks to the incredible generosity of friends, family, and supporters, we raised over $51,000. It was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, and I’m still deeply grateful for everyone who made it possible.

This year, I’ve decided to push myself even further by running a full marathon in support of CHEO’s Cardiology Department, and I’ve set a new fundraising goal of $20,000.

As many of you know, CHEO has been an important part of our family’s life since our son Arthur was diagnosed with Severe Aortic Stenosis and Coarctation of the Aorta five days after his birth in October 2023. In his first year, Arthur underwent two heart procedures and continues to receive regular care from CHEO’s incredible cardiology team.

Today, Arthur is doing incredibly well. He’s a happy, healthy, energetic little boy who brings joy to everyone he meets. He’s hitting all his milestones and living a full life—but his condition still requires ongoing care and supervision, and he will be followed by CHEO and cardiologists for the rest of his life.

This fundraiser is our way of giving back to the team that’s helped our son thrive—and to support the thousands of other children and families who walk through CHEO’s doors each year.

In 2024 alone, CHEO’s Cardiology Department had 21,881 visits, led by a team of 21 staff members who provide everything from newborn heart assessments to complex testing, procedures, and long-term follow-up care. They are truly a world-class team doing lifesaving work every single day.

Your donation will help support the purchase of advanced cardiology equipment, fund research, and contribute to new programs that assist families navigating life with a child who has a heart condition.
