My Story…
November 2023, I woke up to a gun pointing at my head. The person holding the gun was someone I once trusted and loved deeply. In his relapse, he turned into my greatest predator with a deep psychosis that created permanent delusion and violence. The days that followed consisted of many attempts to help him with mobile health crisis, pastoral counseling, family intervention, but he just didn't want the help. His delusions solicited misguided empathy and only validated his addiction to greater depths. I was left with no choice but to protect my family, and let go of the idea that I could "love him healthy." The past year and a half, I have sought ways to heal myself and an important part of my healing was helping those ready for change. At Transformation Village, I support women and children as they rebuild their lives in a safe place. Your donation will expand their facility and provide more women the second chance they urgently need.
