Help Holly raise money

Hello Dear Friends and Family!  

I am Holly Watkins, and I am a part of #AVL STRONG.

As most of you are aware, I live in a community that has been utterly devastated by Hurricane Helene.  The sheer amount of destruction that still exists to this day (214 days later) has left me absolutely heartbroken, as I love this community.  The historic Biltmore Village is still roped off and looks like a crime scene, many local businesses have closed their doors due to insurance payout issues and lack of tourism, the river arts district is still limping along with its mass destruction, and destroyed cars and debris still line our riverbends. The Western Carolinas are my home - my family's home - and we are here to stay and rebuild.

Our family has been searching for ways to give back post destruction - from providing money to those that lost their homes with no insurance - to pro-bono insurance assistance to our local small businesses in disarray - to serving with our local Meals on Wheels that has more homebound seniors than ever - to donating what we can, when we can.  

And we thank you all for reaching out on how to support our community as well.  And here is a great opportunity on how to give back!  I am running with an amazing local team on May 18th for a 5k to raise money for Transformation Village in Biltmore that will provide an emergency safe haven 24/7 to our community.  It is a worthy cause that I'm proud to partner with and help raise money for.
