My Story…
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, they were a big part of my life and I spent as much time as I could around animals. That passion led me to work as a vet assistant for three years before joining the military, where I saw firsthand the care, patience, and dedication it takes to help animals in need. Now, as a volunteer at Bide Awhile Animal Shelter, I see just how much these animals rely on people willing to give them a second chance.
My cat, Dallas, is a daily reminder of how much love and companionship animals bring into our lives. I want every animal to have the same opportunity to be safe, cared for, and loved, which is why I’m raising funds for this amazing animal shelter. Every dollar goes toward medical care, food, shelter, and finding forever homes for animals who deserve a fresh start. By participating in the Blue Nose Marathon, I hope to make a difference for them! 🐾
