My name is Ashton and I have had a passion for helping animals my whole life. I graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2016 and have always had a specific interest in the rescue/shelter community. My husband and I currently have 3 rescue cats: Tiggs, Ember and Gravy in addition to our little calico Ellie who unfortunately passed away in late 2024. I also own my own small business, Little Calico Clay (named after our little calico Ellie) and enjoy using my business to help create awareness and support the animal rescue community and all the important things they do!
Description
Bide Awhile Animal Shelter is a not-for-profit, no-kill animal shelter that has been rescuing, caring for and rehoming animals since 1969. The shelter has grown in recent years to rehome over 600 animals every year. We believe that each companion is deserving of a second chance for a happy life regardless of age, health status, or breed.
