Description
ACNS is dedicated to providing crucial support for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. For those infected and affected we provide counselling, support programs, workshops, peer support groups, referral and system navigation, and a judgment-free drop-in space for people to come in, chat, have a snack and pick up free personal care items that some struggle to afford. We also do targeted HIV prevention, health promotion and testing promotion for high-risk priority populations, and provide training for community-based organizations and healthcare providers about how to better work with both those living with HIV and those at risk.
