Stronger Together: Join The Hurricane Helene Recovery Effort

It’s been nearly two months since Hurricane Helene slammed into the southern US, leaving a 500-mile path of destruction in its wake. It will be a long and difficult road to recovery for many families in North Carolina, especially those already living in poverty. With the holidays approaching, so many families are simply hoping for a safe, solid roof over their heads. Will you help make this dream a reality?

CORE is currently in North Carolina implementing our long-term recovery initiatives that include:

  • Permanent roof repair, mucking and gutting, and mold suppression
  • Elevating the foundations of trailer homes to avoid future flooding
  • Bridging the FEMA funding gap for low-income and uninsured families

Your Impact:
CORE was in North Carolina well before Helene, responding to previous disasters and public health needs. And we’ll be here long after the debris is cleared, powered by generous supporters like you. $250,000 allows our teams to stay on the ground for another three months, reaching more families in need and helping them rebuild after this devastating disaster.
