SVCM NeighborCare came to fruition after the success of a short-term, grassroots clinic that spurred after Hurricane Helene, to assist in the Swannanoa Valley, one of the hardest hit areas.

With efforts from Dr. Wes Hite, Nurse Practitioner Ann Marie Hammond, and Athletic Trainer Crystal Shirk and through the utilization of volunteer medical staff, this free clinic is currently open 9am-12pm, two mornings a week, to serve neighbors in the Swannanoa Valley with a certain limited income level. Visits treat basic non-surgical, non-emergency situations, ranging from sickness to wound care, to wellness visits, and other various conditions and needs.

Donations to the program help provide support for additional supplies and cost-free referrals to other specialty medical providers.

Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry appreciates all support provided to this ministry.
