The Victoria Day Parade is back for the 125th running and so is the Douglas Mile on Monday, May 19th, 2025
The Victoria Day Douglas Mile is your opportunity to run or walk down Douglas Street starting at Summit & Douglas to the finish line at City Hall and lead the Victoria Day Parade. Wheelchairs, strollers are welcome as well.
Start Time: 8:30 am
UPDATE: Draw prizes will be pre-drawn and announced at the start line. Refreshments: Will be distributed upon crossing the finish line.
The top 3 medals for men / women will be awarded upon finishing.
There will be a clock at the finish line but the event will not be chip timed.
This year our charity of choice is the Parkinson Wellness Projects Please support the charity by donating during online registration and/or raising pledges. 100% of all pledges go to the Parkinson Wellness Projects.
Note: All participants must be able to finish the Mile distance within 30 minutes.

Bib pick up from 7:30 - 8:15 at the start line.
Each participant will receive a race number,
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers for men and women
The course is measured and there will be a clock at the finish line so you can see your finishing time. This event is not officially and times will not be posted
This event is being organized in partnership with the Greater Victoria Festivals Society.
All donations benefit Parkinson Wellness Projects.
