Hi, I’m Alicia Lao — one of the local mums in Wahroonga. I moved here in 2024 and quickly fell in love with the natural beauty of this area. Whether it’s bushwalking or just a peaceful stroll around the neighborhood, I love being outside and staying active. After settling in, I started a Chinese mums group to help connect local families, support each other, and share our everyday experiences through meeting up. One thing we all value deeply is looking after our health — because when we take better care of ourselves, we’re happier and our families are too. That’s why I’m joining this fun run. It’s a little reminder — for myself and for others — to prioritise our wellbeing. Life gets busy, but we deserve moments like this to focus on us.
