My Story…
I was asked recently what my core belief was, and what immediately came to mind was community. That's why Chinatown Showboat and the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival mean so much to me. This year, we're supporting Bruyère Health Foundation, Matthew House Ottawa, Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa, Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, Youth Services Bureau, Unbroken Recovery One Rep at a Time, and Bereaved Families of Ontario (Ottawa Chapter). The work of Matthew House, which offers shelter, meals, furniture, and compassionate support to refugee claimants arriving in Canada with no sponsors, is especially close to our hearts. Please help us help them by donating!
