My Story…
Twin Cities Marathon holds a special place in my heart for many reasons. I qualified for the Boston Marathon for the first time in 2009 after a couple years of chasing the elusive dream. My "Ooh La La" Sonja was there to cheer me on, along with my Sister. It was the first time Sonja had met Laurie. Sonja and I had just started dating at the time, and I was so excited to see them both along the course. It was my 5th marathon, and one of my most emotional running experiences of my life. This will be the 10th time running Twin Cities Marathon, and my 70th overall. This year, for the first time, I'll be running for a Charity Team - The Forest Lake Area Good Samaritans. My wife and I founded the group 8 years ago to commit random acts of kindness throughout the world, starting in our community. Please consider donating to our Charity. We create a big impact in our area through community events. We do this through mowing senior's lawns each week, yard cleanups in the Spring and Fall, car repairs, home repairs, rides to doctor's appointments, aid for families with fires, and have gifted 23 cars to families who had no transportation. Our slogan is "It Feels Good To Do Good"
