I am a recent graduate of the Allina Health United Family Medicine Residency Program in St. Paul, MN and I’m thrilled to be running the 2025 Twin Cities 10 mile in support of Face to Face Prenatal Program.

Our residency program has a longstanding partnership with Face to Face Clinic in St. Paul. Together, we provide pregnancy and reproductive care for adolescents and young adults. It has been a true joy to partner with patients and their support systems as their primary physician, attend the deliveries in the hospital, and continue to care for both parent and newborn following delivery. 

These experiences have significantly shaped me as a physician advocate, influenced my career aspirations, and allowed me to work with faculty and staff who I admire. In this next phase of my career following residency graduation, I will be working as a family physician providing pregnancy care and obstetric deliveries in the Twin Cities, serving as a community preceptor for our residents within the Face to Face Prenatal Program, and engaging in all avenues as an advocate for community health and equitable access to care.

However, recent state and federal funding cuts have severely threatened this incredible work and critical access to care through the Face to Face Prenatal Program, leading to much uncertainty for patients, clinicians and staff. It has been truly fulfilling to work alongside Dr. Sue Inoue, colleagues and Face to Face staff to bring together this running team. We are grateful for the warm support of our larger community, and welcome your ongoing help in whatever ways feasible.
