My Story…
Hi family & friends,
I recently took up the hobby of running (yes, even i’m shocked)! I have never been a runner, seriously never.
But somehow and someway I will be running the Twin Cities 10 mile race on October 5th. I have definitely been challenged throughout my training, but I am so excited to participate in this race especially because I am running for Sophie’s Squad, a charity that provides “education and awareness to improve the mental health of athletes by encouraging open conversations and emphasizing that seeking help is a sign of strength.”
Mental health impacts all of us, even if you don’t personally struggle, I am sure you know someone or know of someone who does.
If you would like to support me and the organization and are able to make a donation — I know it would be very appreciated and make an impact.
You can learn more about Sophie’s Squad here: https://sophiessquad.org
Or donate here: https://raceroster.com/events/2025/93171/2025-medtronic-twin-cities-marathon-weekend/pledge/team/826709
All thoughts, prayers, good vibes for my race are appreciated!
I’d like to think that 8th grade me that ran the 1 mile race in school is pretty proud! (and definitely very shocked that I am willingly running a race) 🏃🏼♀️
Donate to help Lauren raise money for 2025 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend’s fundraising campaign.
