It's my first 10k race I've ever done and I'm pumped to train for it! 

I was a member of the community at L'Arche Daybreak in Ontario near the start of my journey supporting people with disabilities and mental health struggles. Despite working in many other agencies since then, I haven't been involved in an organization that supports inclusion and making services feel as 'home-like' as well as L'Arche! As a therapist, my approach has been strongly influenced by L'Arche values - I focus on the rapport and relationship with my clients and give grace to the hardships and adversity they have both had and caused. Helping them find their spot in communities and grow in their skills are also areas of passion and ones inspired by my time with L'Arche.
