My Story…
For those of you who don't know the Runnin' Gals, we have been running races together for a few years now, during which we have cultivated an incredibly supportive community of women that truly makes life brighter. Next October, we will be running the Victoria Marathon in support of BC Cancer and Fast and Female Supporting Women in Sports Foundation, two non-profit organizations that are very dear to our hearts.
While we have a few seasoned marathoners in our motley crew, a couple of us will be running our first full marathon as a massive "F U" to cancer, which has personally touched every gal in our group. If you have the means to donate, we would truly appreciate your support! We are grateful every day for the gift of movement, and for our bodies that make it possible for us to move mountains in the name of physical and mental wellness.
