My Story…
Hi Im Damo and I volunteer in the stroke and brain injury ward at Victoria General Hospital. Every week, I meet people working to regain speech, memory, movement, and confidence, often after life-altering events.
The Victoria Brain Injury Society supports this kind of recovery in the community. They provide cognitive rehab, counselling, education, and peer support to people living with brain injury. It’s vital work, and often overlooked.
For many, it’s not just about healing - it’s about regaining a sense of freedom, independence, and self.
I’m running to help fund that. If you’re able to donate, thank you. Your support genuinely helps people rebuild their lives.
