An estimated 85,000 British Columbians live with dementia. The Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s vision is a world without Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, and that world begins with a more dementia-friendly society, where people affected by the disease are supported, acknowledged and included. Working in communities throughout the province, the Society supports, educates and advocates for people living with dementia, as well as supporting valuable research into the disease and people living with it.
