I grew up with a degenerative eye-condition and am the Founder of Blind Beginnings.
My very first guide-runner was my Dad. We used to run the BC Blind Sports Run for Light every year when I was a teen and young adult. I would train for a few weeks leading up to the run, but he would just buy a new pair of runners and be able to do the run without training.

Donate now to help me raise money for the Blind Beginnings STEP Program – Safe Travel Education for Pre-schoolers. This one-of-a-kind summer program teaches preschool-aged children who are blind or partially sighted foundational mobility and independence skills. With your help, we're setting them up to take their very first steps—safely and confidently!
