My Story…
If you’ve found yourself on this page, chances are you know all too well that cancer is cruel. Most of us have watched someone we love face it, and you might know the helpless feeling.
My younger brother was diagnosed six years ago. One of my closest friends has been in treatment for as long as I’ve known him. I lost my grandpa to cancer when I was just six. My grandmother has battled (and beat) multiple types of cancer. And now, my partner has been diagnosed with brain cancer.
There’s nothing that prepares you for the weight of watching someone you love go through this. I can’t fix it, but selfishly I need do something. So I’ve signed myself up for a challenge I can control, in the hope that by raising funds, I can help in some small but meaningful way.
