My Story…
I am running for ElderDog Canada! Every week, I walk a dog for a wonderful senior through ElderDog. I love being able to be a part of a team that helps keep seniors and their dogs together. I think I get as much out of it as they do. In fact, I love the work that ElderDog does so much that I stepped up to volunteer behind the scenes as well, coordinating the Vancity dog walks.
Can you help me raise some money for this fine, 100% volunteer-run organization? In addition to walks and dog care, ElderDog helps low-income senior clients with vet bills and with rehoming to kind and caring homes in the event of an emergency. All dollars raised will go towards vet expenses for our low-income clients and their dogs as well as other expenses like food and supplies for our foster care program. Thank-you!!
Description
Help us keep love in the home! Run, walk or wheel for ElderDog and help raise money to cover the costs of our emergency foster program including food, supplies and veterinary care. It will also help ElderDog cover veterinary expenses for ElderDog clients for whom finances are a barrier. We honour and preserve the human-canine bond and all of its social and emotional benefits.
