My Story…
I have been Volunteering with ElderDog for just over a year now, and I love being of service to Seniors, and of course, getting to meet all the pups across Vancouver City!
Little Lola is a perfect example of why ElderDog is incredible - when she lived with her human, ElderDog helped with walking. When her human moved into long term care, ElderDog arranged for foster care and rehoming. Now, at 16yrs of age, she has a Husky sister, goes camping and hiking, and wins the hearts of everyone she meets!
Dogs are truly a gift from the Universe, and I am grateful every day for ElderDog and their dedication to keeping humans and their dogs together as long as possible.
All services offered by ElderDog are done so at no cost to the Senior and I would love for you to help us continue this good work.
Description
Help us keep love in the home! Run, walk or wheel for ElderDog and help raise money to cover the costs of our emergency foster program including food, supplies and veterinary care. It will also help ElderDog cover veterinary expenses for ElderDog clients for whom finances are a barrier. We honour and preserve the human-canine bond and all of its social and emotional benefits.
