About Tali and Our Mission

Tali was a spirited 4-year-old who inspired many with her strength and determination during her battle with a rare and aggressive brain cancer. Her legacy lives on through Tali’s Fund, established to honour her memory and to fight against the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among children under 20: brain tumours.

Our Impact

Over the past 18 years, our dedication to supporting childhood brain cancer research at SickKids hospital has resulted in groundbreaking discoveries. Click here to see the impact we've already made. But there's much more to be done. Brain tumours remain poorly understood, making them difficult to predict, prevent, and treat effectively.

New Family Support Initiatives

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the economic and emotional toll on families is immense. It’s hard to recover from the loss of income, which may continue for many months or even years.

Tali’s Fund has recently partnered with Kindred Foundation and Phoebe Rose Rocks Committee to offer Gift Card Packages to  families across Canada with children diagnosed with brain cancer. Our goal is to expand this program by working with other like-minded organizations to support even more families facing childhood brain cancer.

We also have an extensive database of family support resources on our website and are actively promoting it to ensure families can easily find and access this information.

We are committed to keeping the database up-to-date and continuously adding new resources as they become available.
