I am participating again for the 15th time in support of the Hellenic Home for the Aged.  With the continued support of friends like you, I have managed to raise approximately $250,000 over the previous 14 years.
 
As we continue our mission, we have embarked on an ambitious and have initiated construction of the PH4 Long-Term Care in Scarborough, a facility that will provide compassionate, high-quality care for our aging population.  It is scheduled for completion by the summer of 2027.  This initiative addresses the critical needs within the Greek community, ensuring our seniors receive the dignity, respect, support, and services they so rightfully deserve.

Our waiting lists have grown to over 800 people looking for accommodation in one of our facilities.
 
I am very passionate about the Hellenic Home.  My immediate family members have stayed at both the Toronto and Scarborough facilities. The Home provided them with the opportunity to live the last few years of their lives with dignity, compassion, and respect.  If you have, or had, family members residing in one of the two facilities, you will appreciate the work that our dedicated staff are doing.  It is not by chance that we are rated as one of the top nursing homes in Ontario by the Ministry of Long Term Care.
 
It gives me pleasure to know our residents are well taken care of in an environment that respects and enhances the Greek heritage and Greek Orthodox faith.  This is what gives me the inspiration and the drive to financially support the Home’s mission, to raise funds for it, to get involved, and to deal with the ever-changing needs of our residents.
