My Story…
Hey fam! Another year, another race. Although I had aspirations of taking on the Full Marathon (42K), a fractured foot/ankle and a rough start to 2025 has me focusing on what I can control. I KNOW I can kick butt at the Half Marathon again (plus the 5K the day before), so let's get to it.
This year's charity is the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. Normally I would choose the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of my father who passed away suddenly in 2019. It seems they aren't on the list, so this year I selected an alternative. I have a loved one that's got a parent going through this. So let's help raise some funds for Alzheimer research. :)
