My Story…
Running for Early Detection & Hope
This year, I’m running my very first marathon, and I’m dedicating every step of it to someone I will always miss: my cousin. We lost him to cancer, and one of the hardest parts was knowing that if it had been caught earlier, things might have been different.
So I’m not just training for the finish line, I’m running to raise awareness about the importance of early detection, and to help make sure others don’t face the same heartbreaking gaps in care.
I’ve chosen to support the Canadian Cancer Society, because they’re on the front lines of improving access to screening programs, funding early detection research, and supporting families through the toughest moments of their lives.
If cancer has touched your life, or someone you love, you know how much every bit counts. I’d be incredibly grateful if you’d consider donating. Even a small gift can help someone get screened earlier, get support sooner, or simply not feel alone.
Thanks for cheering me on, on the road, and in this cause.
