My Story…
I'm doing it again! On October 19, I'll be walking a half marathon to raise awareness and funds for Dyslexia Canada, a national charity dedicated to supporting children Canada who have dyslexia.
Walking a half marathon is no small feat, but it's nothing compared to the daily challenges faced by kids with dyslexia trying to navigate a system that often isn't built for them.
How you can help:
I’ve set a fundraising goal of $500.00, and every dollar brings us one step closer to a future where all children with dyslexia get the support they need to thrive.
👉 Please consider donating to help me reach my goal. No amount is too small, and your support means the world!
Description
I will be running in the 2025 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon and would like to ask for your help in supporting Dyslexia Canada in its mission to ensure that every child in Canada with dyslexia has access to a fair and equitable education. Did you know that dyslexia affects 10-20% of the population, which means that more than 750,000 children in public schools have dyslexia?
Dyslexia Canada has made some great progress in its mission to provide outreach and support to families with children with dyslexia, change the education system, and bring awareness and recognition to dyslexia. However, there is still a lot of work to do.
Please join me in supporting this charity that is very close to my heart and help ensure that all children have the resources available to them to achieve greater literacy and personal accomplishments. Thank you!
