My Story…
I am so grateful to be able to run the Toronto Waterfront Half Marathon to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. 16 years ago I lost a dear friend to CF, and I run a race every year in honour of him. Since the early 2000s the advancements in medications and treatments have changed the average lifespan of someone with CF from 17-30 years into 60 years. Those living with Cystic Fibrosis now have access to better management of chronic lung diseases, better medications to combat infections and further access to gene-modifying medications.
I am hoping that with your help we can make a positive financial impact for the Cystic Fibrosis Canada Foundation to help those living with CF and anyone impacted by it.
This race is for Matt and everyone living with cystic fibrosis!
Description
I am excited to participate in the 2025 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon with Team CF Canada! Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. At present, there is no cure.
By supporting my fundraising efforts, you are helping Cystic Fibrosis Canada go further to drive advancements in treatment, care and advocacy, creating a world without limits for everyone impacted by CF.
Thank you in advance for your support.
