Help Shirley raise money

On June 21, I celebrated my 90th birthday with dozens of friends and relatives. I told everyone I'm grateful to be alive, and to still be able to raise funds for Real Humanitarian. 

In October I'm going to scoot 5 km in the virtual Toronto Waterfront Marathon to raise funds to send children to school in Ethiopia because their caregivers -- mostly grandmothers -- can't afford to pay for school supplies. I have seen myself how this organization paid to send orphans to school, from kindergarten to high school to college and university.  RH provides healthy meals to the children and their caregivers, as well as medical and dental care provided by Canadian volunteers.  

Unlike many other charities, RH has very little overhead, which is why they rely on volunteers like me. This is the best way I know of to break the cycle of poverty, which is why I'm raising funds for Real Humanitarian.  If you wish, you can sponsor me for any amount.  If you sponsor me for $20 or more, you will get a tax receipt by email by the end of November.  Of course if you want to donate $90 for each of my years, I would be over-the-top grateful.
