Young Kenyans thrive when supported through Education
I’m running (well, walking) to add a bit more fairness to the world. In my travels to Kenya over the years, I’ve talked with many young people from families in poverty, who weren’t able to raise fees for secondary school, and had to drop out. University and college are an unattainable dream. I’ve also talked to many youn Kenyans who were able to earn a secondary school diploma, and attend university, thanks to support from Community Education Services. Many have gone on to great careers as teachers, principals, nurses and other health workers, and IT professionals. A scholarship from CES, with ongoing support as part of the CES “family” in Kenya, made that possible.
Please help give a young person a chance, by contributing towards my fundraising goal.
Donate to help Carl raise money for 2025 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon’s fundraising campaign.
