Help Mansoor raise money

My name is Mansoor. I arrived in Canada as a permanent resident three years ago, sponsored by the Holy Trinity Refugee Committee and a community group called Team Zaryab. I was born in Afghanistan, but had to flee quickly after the country fell to the Taliban in 2021. I was receiving death threats from them for teaching girls beyond grade six and preparing girls to attend university. I was studying medicine back home, and today I am in second year Life Sciences at UofT. Holy Trinity, together with a new group called Team Zaryab-2, is helping me to sponsor my mother, stepdad, brother and sister who are refugees in Pakistan. They were in danger because of my activities and because of how difficult the Taliban has made life for women and girls and all Afghans. We hope they will come soon! My participation in the Marathon is important to me because I can help Holy Trinity continue its efforts to bring refugees to new, safe lives in Canada.
