Hello, and welcome to my donation page!

Running is something that I have always loved doing but had placed it on hold for the past six years. I have decided to make a change to improve my own personal fitness and well being, while supporting an important cause that is close to heart - The Alzheimer Society of Toronto. 

Sadly, Alzheimer's and other related dementias are prevalent and chances are you also know someone who is impacted by the disease. My wife lost both of her grandmothers to Alzheimer's. Fortunately, I had the privilege of getting to know her Nonna before the disease stripped her of her abilities (including making the best tasting lasagna). 

The number of instances of dementia impacting families are sadly slated to increase significantly over the coming years. With your support we can help provide another family with a moment of respite by providing them with access to the various programs and services the Alzheimer Society of Toronto offers.
