Help Gayle raise money

This year, I’m running the 5K in the TCS Charity Marathon to raise funds for a cause that has been close to my heart for over 15 years—Annex Cat Rescue.

Since 2008, I’ve worn many hats as a volunteer: matching cats to their perfect forever homes as an adoptions coordinator, trapping cats so they could begin safe and happy indoor lives, onboarding new foster families, managing parts of the website, and fostering countless cats myself (I’ve lost track of how many paws have padded through my home). Each one of these cats has a story. Some have been abused, neglected, or simply left to survive alone on the streets. They deserve better.

Annex Cat Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run charity, and every single dollar goes directly toward veterinary care. There’s no other source of income. This marathon is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Your donation helps us cover spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, emergency treatments, and all the care these cats need to heal and thrive.

I’ll be running for the ones still waiting to be rescued, for the ones who have found safety, and for the ones who left pawprints on my heart. Please consider supporting my run—every step I take is for them.
