Help Karen raise money

I'm running the Toronto Waterfront Half Marathon this year to raise funds for Toronto Cat Rescue (TCR)—a volunteer-powered organization that rescues cats from situations where they are at risk of euthanasia, abandonment, or neglect. My fundraising goal is $700, and every dollar goes directly to TCR. 

TCR did not sponsor my race entry, so your donation supports only the rescue work, not my participation.

TCR is unique in its approach: they focus on rescuing cats from shelters that are overcrowded or under-resourced, often pulling cats from outside the GTA and even from other provinces. They also take in cats with medical needs or behavioral challenges that other rescues might not be equipped to handle. I've been fostering with TCR since 2020, and I’ve seen firsthand how committed they are to giving every cat a second chance—whether it’s a shy senior or a rambunctious kitten with special needs.
