My Story…

I am excited to share that I will be running in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon on October 19th in support of SickKids Hospital—the place that provided lifesaving care to our little warrior, Mila Grace.

This year, my run carries a very personal meaning. Mila’s journey began in the ER at Southlake, where a team of doctors, pediatricians, and respiratory therapists fought to stabilize her and transferred to the NICU. But that night, we faced a terrifying setback—Mila stopped breathing and needed to be rushed to SickKids for more specialized care. Thanks to her resilience and the extraordinary expertise of her SickKids team, she pulled through.

We are so thankful to have had a level IV children’s hospital so close to home. I am fundraising because every dollar makes a difference. Donations help fund the specialized equipment, innovative treatments, and groundbreaking research that allow SickKids to provide world-class care for children like Mila.

If you’re able, please consider donating to support SickKids and the incredible work they do for families every single day. Every contribution, big or small, helps give kids the best chance at life. Thank you for standing with us.
