A writer and longtime Hong Fook supporter, Holly began writing at 14 to make sure the stories of her community would not be forgotten. Her recent book "By The Riverside of Kampuchea" profiled the extraordinary love story of Quoc and Van, a couple who survived years of undiagnosed PTSD after meeting in a refugee camp. With Holly's support, they connected to Hong Fook and went on to become a pair of dedicated Cantonese group volunteer leaders.
Holly is running the 5K to shine a light on the importance of timely support and community care.
