My Story…
This year, I will be running the TCS Toronto Waterfront Half-Marathon wiht Team Rubicon Canada.
Team Rubicon Canada is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves communities before, during, and after disasters and crises. They harness the skills of military veterans, first responders, and civilians to help communities prepare, respond, and recover. From wildfire mitigation to flood recovery, they've deployed on over 100 missions worldwide. Between operations, we lead training and service projects that strengthen local resilience, ensuring communities know they’re not alone and empowering volunteers to serve with lasting purpose.
Over the past few months, Canada has endured its second-worst wildfire season on record. Over 7.3 million hectares have burned, with more than 470 fires still out of control and tens of thousands forced to evacuate. By supporting my run, you’ll help Team Rubicon Canada continue this critical work, making sure no community is left to face disaster alone.
