Help Kristylyn raise money

Hi friends!

My name is Kristylyn Cherian, and I’ve recently stepped into a new role as a Ministry Supervisor with UrbanPromise. It’s been such a blessing to walk alongside children in our community—helping them grow academically, personally, and spiritually in Christ.

This year, I’m participating in the 5K Run for Promise (October 18–19) to raise funds so our children can continue to experience growth and transformation through Christ-centered programs.

Our programs offer discipleship, mentorship, and encouragement for our StreetLeaders (ages 14–18) who dedicate their time to nurturing and strengthening children (ages 4–13). One of many God-stories I’ve witnessed is seeing our StreetLeaders embody the love of Christ—whether it’s through reading with children, tutoring them in math, helping them journal their thoughts, teaching them to make godly choices, or simply bringing joy and laughter through games and activities.

Change happens when we use what the Lord gives us for His Kingdom—and at UrbanPromise, that change is seen in the lives of children and youth like these.

Hebrews 12:1–2 reminds us:

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith…”

As I participate in this race, I’m fixing my eyes on Jesus and inviting you to join me. Your prayers, encouragement, and support will directly impact the children we serve—helping them discover their God-given potential and experience the hope of Christ.
