My Story
This is my 16th year of being part of the Campfire Circle (formerly Camp Ooch/Trillium) year-round volunteer team and having the privilege of going to camp with the most amazing campers and families.
It is truly life changing to experience the magic of Campfire Circle and see our campers challenge themselves, nurture old and new friendships, and just be a kid. I’m honoured to continue to be part of their journey.
This is my 13th year running/walking the Sporting Life 10K. Sometimes running en masse down Yonge St, and in recent years, charting my own virtual 10K course. I’m also fundraising to ensure that as many kids as possible are able to be part of Campfire Circle.

Help deliver healing through happiness to kids with cancer or serious illness and their families.
For over 40 years Campfire Circle has provided play-based experiences through our in-hospital, community, and overnight camps for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. We empower kids to take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.
Now, more than ever, kids with serious illness and their families need moments of joy, connection, and healing.
