My Story
The run I am participating in raises money for Camp Oochigeas (Ooch), which offers kids affected with childhood cancers and opportunity to experience camp. Ooch operates all year round and is the only residential camp in Ontario with the ability to offer on site chemotherapy and blood transfusions, allowing kids in active treatment to get out of the hospital for a bit. The camp is offered to children with cancer at no cost to their families, relying entirely upon the generosity of donors.

For over 40 years Campfire Circle has provided play-based experiences through our in-hospital, community, and overnight camps for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. We empower kids to take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.
Now, more than ever, kids with serious illness and their families need moments of joy, connection, and healing.
