My Story
Last year's 10K reminded me how powerful a simple run can be, physically, mentally, and even emotionally. I am back again this year, not chasing a new record, but refining my pace, enjoying the challenge, and staying consistent in a routine that keeps me grounded. Training has been steady, nothing fancy. Just discipline, progress, and the satisfaction of showing up.
Once again, I am running to support Campfire Circle. It is a cause that deserves real attention, and this race is my small way of helping push it forward.
If you are able, I would appreciate your support, whether through a few words of encouragement or a donation. Every bit counts, and together we can make this run about more than just fitness.
Thank you for being part of it.

For over 40 years Campfire Circle has provided play-based experiences through our in-hospital, community, and overnight camps for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. We empower kids to take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.
Now, more than ever, kids with serious illness and their families need moments of joy, connection, and healing.
When you donate to Campfire Circle you build friendships and social skills, develop self-confidence and resiliency, and improve their overall well-being.
With your support, we can offer our programs at no cost to families and grow our circle of care so that every eligible child can benefit from our innovative and impactful programs.
