My Story
For the last 10 years (this will be my 11th year), I have participated in the Campfire Circle/Sporting Life 5K walk to raise money to send kids with cancer to Camp Ooch in memory of Edyn Drever who tragically died of cancer at 12.
We call ourselves "Team Edyn" and over the span of 10 years we have raised over $250,000 to send kids to Camp, none of which would have been possible without the devotion and leadership of Kristyn, Michael and Simon Drever.
Edyn went to Camp Ooch the summer before she passed. She adored her time there where she was just another kid having fun at camp. I loved Edyn, as did everyone who had the good fortune of knowing her, she was funny, happy, goofy and kind beyond words. Please help support Team Edyn send more kids to camp so they can focus on having fun and just being a kid. Any amount helps.

For over 40 years Campfire Circle has provided play-based experiences through our in-hospital, community, and overnight camps for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. We empower kids to take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.
Now, more than ever, kids with serious illness and their families need moments of joy, connection, and healing.
